Are you just building a bigger treadmill to run even faster on?

You’re growing your business like you you’ve been told you should.

But your overheads are getting bigger, there’s more complexity, and it’s taking more cash every month just to stand still.

And you feel really proud of the growth but…..

  • Have you got more profit in the bank?

  • Do you feel more financially secure now?

  • Do you feel more pressure to keep bringing in the revenue to meet the increased overheads?

This is the paradox of growth.

We’re told by society that it’s what we should want and should do, because we’ve got to feed the consumerism that drives the economy.

Grow your business.  Earn more money. Spend more money. Repeat

It’s ok to question if the pursuit of growth for the sake of growth is for you:

  • Is this making me more financially secure and building my wealth?

  • Is this bringing more joy, and letting me have a healthier and balanced life?

  • Is this bringing me time with my family and friends?

OR am I just building a bigger treadmill to run even faster on?

Am I doing this to “look successful” to other people I don’t really care about?

There’s a way to build more financial security, and it doesn’t involve mindless growth at all costs.

That’s the path I teach business owners instead:

  • Be clear exactly what financial success looks like for YOU;  what is Enough

  • Stop winging it and put the framework in that keeps your business safe and on track

  • Build predictable sustainable profit and get money into your pension or investments every month

  • Build wealth as you go, don’t gamble on stressful growth and maybe selling your business one day

So which path do you choose?
