This isn't just a business for me, it's a hugely personal lifelong mission
In my early twenties during the '90s recession I went through 3 big financial traumas:
My parents lost their business and home through no fault of their own.
At 21 I lost the house I'd oh so proudly bought when I was 18.
And the incredible family business I worked for as an (over promoted and under qualified) head of finance went dramatically bust after growing from £0.5m to £10 in just 3 years. I had to make hundreds of people redundant, close down our national chain of shops and watch the liquidators take my bosses dignity.
It lit a fire under me that’s never gone away to help business owners build lasting security.
During my business owner journey I bought into the scale and exit hype in my own business too.
I spent 12 years chasing fast growth, because that's what I was told I "should" want.
It didn't make me happy. In fact I burned out in spectacular style!
So I found a way that worked for me, and I used my "lifestyle" business to build financial security on my terms.
